Jan Burdinski

Executive Director Hyundai Motor Company

Jan Burdinski is a German automotive industry representative heading the EU office of the Hyundai Motor Group. In this role he is in charge of advocacy on behalf of both automotive brands Hyundai and Kia as well as other pillars of the company such as Hyundai Steel, Hyundai Mobis and Hyundai Capital Services. He started his current position in the summer of 2017.

Prior to working at Hyundai Motor Group, he re-built the office of General Motors Europe in Berlin and helped re-position the brands Opel and Vauxhall. He also represented Opel vis-à-vis the Turkish government over a period of two years.

Before joining the automotive industry, for more than twenty years Jan Burdinski built-up his own boutique consultancy servicing mostly US-based tech companies in the field of telecommunications, energy and health care.
