  • Help to find the right component for automotive motor control
  • A single point of reference listing best-fit solutions for a great variety of automotive motor control applications
  • An overview of support material for easy and fast evaluation and prototyping

Regardless of the engine type, modern vehicles rely on a growing number of electric motor control solutions.

Electric motors enable smart basic functionality like the window lift and sunroof as well as innovative comfort features like flexible seat control and ventilation. Furthermore, motors run various pumps and fans – some of which support safety-relevant powertrain applications.

These include fuel pumps, the main water pump, auxiliary pumps and fans as well as engine and battery cooling fans. All of these parts must operate reliably. Given their proximity to the engine, motor control solutions for automotive pumps and fans must be extremely robust with the ability to withstand high temperatures.

Infineon offers a broad portfolio of DC and BLDC motor control solutions supporting different power partitioning schemes to fit customer-specific preferences.

This extensive offering of intelligent motor control ICs is complemented by microcontrollers, sensors, transceivers, voltage regulators and MOSFETs providing a one-stop-shop-solution.

Download Infineon’s automotive motor drives eBook and explore its comprehensive portfolio to help you find the right component for your prototyping needs.
