Engineering Lead rideOS

Allison Liemhetcharat is a roboticist & software engineer, who is interested in using artificial intelligence to solve real world problems. At rideOS, Allison leads the development of simulation, and works closely with partners to integrate their self-driving vehicles into the rideOS services. Prior to rideOS, Allison worked for over 2 years at Uber Advanced Technologies Group in Pittsburgh. She was Tech Lead of Simulation for over a year, and subsequently worked on the Motion Planning team, and has experience with both the offline and online aspects of self-driving vehicles. Before joining Uber ATG, Allison was a scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research in Singapore, and worked on a number of robotics projects. She also mentored over 30 students in research-related projects, ranging from high school to PhD students. Allison holds a Ph.D. and MS in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
