The trend that cars become connected devices, highly personalized, data driven, and data producing is more than obvious and leads to growing presence at the show.
Last year the North Hall was almost filled with car related companies, plus a few exhibits in other halls. This year the North Hall was completely occupied by automotive companies plus a large ballroom at the Westgate plus a serious number of booths in the central hall. The parking lot in front of the Convention Center was also packed with mobility related exhibits. Even Google, that took the location Gibson Guitars had over all the years, showed their vision of mobility and cars.
