After some joyful time off during the holiday break we’re back to business to gather some great information happening across the industry. We wish you all a prosperous New Year and a good start!
But now, let’s get started right away with this week’s top stories.
When it comes to mobility, Going Green remains one of the top priorities for many countries, manufacturers and consumers. However, despite various subsidies and incentives implemented by governments across the globe the rise of electric vehicles has not been as great as expected, with many countries forecast to fall short of self-imposed targets for electric vehicles by 2020. In his article Colin Pawsey presents an overview of some of the incentives for electric vehicles.
Our survey to evaluate the potentials and challenges in the field of automotive smart data is still open! In the lead up to the In-Engine Optimisation Conference next week in Frankfurt/Main we spoke to Speaker Prof. Chris Brace from the University of Bath about the challenges to experimental engines and the relationship between academia and the automotive industry.
