Philip Koopman 

Faculty Emeritus, Carnegie Mellon University 

Prof. Philip Koopman is an internationally recognized expert on Autonomous Vehicle (AV) safety whose work in that area spans almost 30 years. He has also worked extensively in more general embedded system design, software quality, and safety across numerous transportation, industrial, and defense application domains including conventional automotive software and hardware systems. He originated the UL 4600 autonomous vehicle safety standard, and received the Industry Legend award at the 2024 the Self-Driving Industry Awards. He is faculty emeritus at Carnegie Mellon University.

Florian Rohde

Sabine Scheunert 

Managing Director, Eurocentral, Dassault Systèmes

Sabine Scheunert has been Managing Director of Dassault Systèmes for the EUROCENTRAL region since June 2024. In this role, she is responsible for the implementation of the corporate strategy in eight countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Hungary. Hemanth Tadapelli

Senior Cybersecurity and Compliance SME, May Mobility

Hemanth Tadepalli is the Senior Cybersecurity & Compliance SME at May Mobility, advancing security for autonomous vehicles. He has held roles at AlixPartners, Mandiant, Google, and Michigan-based startup SensCy. 

A published author and frequent conference speaker, Hemanth has earned recognition including Oakland County’s 40 Under 40 and the Michigan Governor’s Service Award. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Kettering University, a Masters in Information and Cybersecurity from UC Berkeley, where he was commencement speaker, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Cyber Defense at Dakota State University. John Stech

Founder, Shiftgate Consulting LLC and Host, The Auto Ethnographer Podcast

John Jörn Stech is a multilingual international automotive expert with 30 years of accumulated experience at four major automotive manufacturers. Since 2021 he operates Shiftgate Consulting LLC, an automotive consulting practice with a portfolio of international projects. John McElroy

President of Blue Sky Productions

John McElroy is President of Blue Sky Productions, which produces “Autoline Daily” the first industry webcast of industry news and analysis. He is also the host “Autoline After Hours,” a weekly live webcast that focuses on new cars and technology. The show can be seen online at www.autoline.tv and on YouTube at the Autoline Network.

John McElroy brings an extensive background to covering the auto industry. He took his first plant tour when he was only six years old. Ahsan Qamar is an accomplished engineering executive with over twelve years of experience in system architecture, ADAS, autonomous vehicles, and robotics, with a track record of impact across the automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, and manufacturing sectors. Ahsan specializes in safety-critical systems and data-driven decision making and is widely recognized for his leadership in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), software-defined vehicles, and system safety. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechatronics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, a Postdoc from Georgia Tech, USA, and brings a multidisciplinary background in mechatronics, robotics, control systems, and systems engineering. It feels like Day 1 being an engineer.”

Dr. Dominic Neumann

EA to the President, Bosch 

Dr. Dominic Neumann is the Assistant to the President / Chief of Staff of Vehicle Motion at Bosch. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Duisburg-Essen and began his professional career as a Project Manager at BMW, specialising in drive train development following the completion of his Master’s thesis on the vibration behavior of occupants in autonomous driving situations.
