3:25 PM COMMERCIAL VEHICLE CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE

PRACTICAL MEASURES TO POWER SOMETHING THAT REQUIRES THE ENERGY OF A SMALL POWER PLANT

By 2026, the EU requires 30% of all the buses on the road to be fully electric. This is a very ambitious target. At present, most electric bus vendors/manufacturers sell to 12-18 months delivery times. It’s restricted both on availability of electric buses, but also the timescale to design and implement a bus depot and charging equipment availability and grid connection.

Whether it’s large fleets, trucks, buses or last mile deliveries, the industry needs to think of the ecosystem in place for electrifying commercial vehicles. There are a lot of new segments coming onto the market, but how do we charge those?

Join this session to hear about:

  • The evolution of vehicles from the commercial point of view
  • What practical measures need to be taken to power something that requires the energy of a small power plant?
  • Government support available for manufacturers announcing all electric commercial models
  • Electricity bandwidth available for depots in rural location

Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Carla.
