Steering Systems Conference 2023 Agenda

Automotive IQ’s 15th Automotive Steering Systems Europe 2023 conference returns to Munich, Germany this November, with opportunities to discuss and solve immediate challenges facing the automotive steering segment, and co-located with the Automotive Braking Systems, Advanced Suspension Systems, and Tire & Wheel Technologies events.

Steering systems are being heavily modified, and with increased investment in steer-by-wire technology, OEMs are looking for improvements in efficiency, performance and functionality while keeping costs down. However, as the physical link between the road and the steering wheel is removed, the new challenges of redundancy, functional safety, and recreating steering feel are ultimately contributing to the delay of SbW integration. Alongside steer-by-wire, OEMs and suppliers are looking to make current steering systems more efficient from a cost, weight, and power consumption point of view, without compromising performance and safety.
