This Year’s Theme: Build Resilience & Adopt New Security Methodologies
to Navigate a Growing Threat & Standards Landscape

Automotive IQ invites you to join your colleagues and peers in Munich, for the Annual Automotive Cyber Security Europe 2026 conference. As the industry’s trusted technical gathering for automotive professionals working across Product & Vehicle Security, IT/OT Security, Manufacturing Security, Application Security, and Embedded Security.

This year’s agenda reflects the reality facing every automotive organisation, with regulations tightening and standards multiplying, cyber security remains a non‑negotiable priority. The pressure to reduce costs, streamline processes, and prove ROI has never been greater, and with SDV accelerating the shift to software‑centric architectures, cyber security is no longer siloed, playing a critical part in shaping the entire value chain.

Attendees can expect more depth, fewer buzzwords, and richer content as companies move from exploration to implementation. The growing influence of China and the increasing complexity of global compliance frameworks, from R155 and R156 to the CRA and emerging AI legislation, are reshaping how OEMs and suppliers operate. OEMs are already pushing for next-generation capabilities, including post‑quantum readiness, while suppliers are increasingly extending their cyber security expertise into adjacent sectors such as agriculture, robotics, and defence. AI remains at the centre of this transformation, with AI and LLM‑based tools beginning to accelerate engineering, automate analysis, and reshape threat modelling, testing, and compliance, yet the automotive industry is still in the early phase of learning how to integrate AI efficiently and safely.

The challenge is not only technical but organisational - against a backdrop of disruptive cyber events in 2025 and a market that remains challenging, the demands placed on automotive cyber security teams are intensifying. Companies must innovate while controlling cost, expand into new markets while maintaining compliance, and secure increasingly complex systems without slowing development.

The 2026 conference promises to bring together the global community to share hard‑won lessons, confront shared challenges, and chart a path toward faster, smarter, and more sustainable cyber security practices.
