Timo van Roermund

Timo van Roermund leads NXP's automotive systems security team and he is deputy head of NXP PSIRT. He has deep expertise in security for embedded devices, ranging from vehicle electronics to mobile phones and IoT devices. He is a regular speaker at international conferences and program committee member for leading automotive security conferences. He has made various contributions to industry consortia and standards and is co-inventor of over 20 international patents. Timo earned an MSc degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology.
