Francesca Forestieri

Francesca Forestieri, Head of Automotive at GlobalPlatform, connects stakeholders across the automotive value chain with experts in trusted digital services and facilitates alignment between GlobalPlatform specifications and automotive market, regulatory and cybersecurity requirements. She develops the strategy, stakeholder network and collaborative agenda for GlobalPlatform's Cybersecurity Vehicle Forum, where new regional and global security use cases from across the industry are evidenced. She also supports the Automotive Task Force work within GlobalPlatform on the development of priority automotive requirements, guidelines and use cases relevant to GlobalPlatform technologies. Previously, as Director of mAutomotive at the GSMA, she led the mAutomotive workstream and developed the programme for the GSMA Connected Car Forum, bringing together automakers and mobile operators worldwide. Her experience spans automotive cybersecurity, connected-car services, telecommunications, the Internet of Things, Intelligent Transport Systems and European transport innovation. She is an international speaker, the author of numerous industry white papers and holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Cornell University.
