Agenda Day 3

7:45 am - 8:00 am Registration and welcome coffee

8:00 am - 10:30 am WORKSHOP D: DEVELOPMENTS IN SUSPENSION SYSTEMS FOR ELECTRIC CARS THAT REDUCE WEIGHT AND OPTIMIZE ENERGY CONSUMPTION TO MAKE EVS MORE COMPETITIVE IN THE MARKETPLACE

We live in the most exciting times for the automotive industry. The biggest disruptions in its history are happening as we speak. But this also means that the technology needs to be drastically
adjusted to the new realms. With the tightening emission regulations pushing green technologies, new concepts in chassis, in particular suspension systems need to be developed. In this workshop,
you will hear the latest developments in the area of electrified vehicle suspensions and discuss the main present day questions and challenges:

Future suspension concepts driven by the mega trends and their interaction with new central chassis control concepts and by wire systems In this workshop we will discuss how the mega trends electrification and Automated Driving influence the requirements on the chassis and how this can be an enabler for new chassis and suspension concepts. Also the technical trend towards central chassis controls and by wire system, and their interaction with the chassis and suspension systems will be discussed, looking at opportunities and challenges for the future:
