Kaiser is from Germany and works as a Principal Safety Consultant with ANSYS.
He has a long experience record as an embedded systems and software developer
and project lead, as a researcher in the safety domain, and was for roughly ten
years head of competence center for safety and systems engineering with a large
engineering service company. He has worked on many aspects of functional safety
for the automotive domain with many major OEMs and suppliers, in recent years
with increasing focus on ADAS and automated driving. For many years has been
striving for closer integration of safety with semi-formal system modelling and
contributed a couple of novel analysis techniques like Component Fault Trees.
He joined ANSYS in 2018 and currently he works as an application engineer in
the United States and is in charge with defining the SOTIF solution for the
tool ANSYS medini analyze and an integrated tool solution embracing SOTIF
analysis and simulation techniques.
