To overcome these unique challenges, new strategies must be developed to bring about new opportunities and innovative solutions. During this session, Whilk Gonçalves of Groupe PSA will explore some of the latest ideas being explored at the car manufacturing giant, including the evolution of lighting from static to automated systems, the importance of sensing and new ways of communicating through symbols projection and extended lighting.

Scholz will explore topics such as driver monitoring systems (DMS) and other 3D sensing systems that improve vehicle safety and meet emerging automotive requirements by the EU and the US. He will look at how regulations are driving the market for NIR sensing in automotive interiors and how the role and performance of NIR light sources is gaining new significance within the vehicle.
