Kapil Kumar is working as a Principal Safety Engineer for self Driving RoboTaxi projects within Motional. Prior to this he has worked in E&E product development for OEM-Tier1-Tier2 companies and worked as product developer/Integrator/tester on most of the E&E topics from Device driver to Vehicle EOL before switching to Functional Safety role. Currently he is working on System safety concepts for fail operational/FailSafe driverless vehicle technologies.
