Future Smart Mobility 2019

27 - 29 November, 2019 | Bayview Eden, Melbourne, VIC

Exploring the Policy, Governance and Technological Infrastructure Requirements needed to Progress to a MaaS Operating Environment

Australia’s population is predicted to grow by 50% over the next 30 years, and recent figures also suggest that traffic congestion in our major cities is set to cost the national economy $8.3 million dollars in 2019. With this in mind, never has it been more urgent for Government, Transport Leaders and Technology Innovators to come together and develop a strategic approach to enable a smart mobility operating environment.

The growth that Australia is experiencing has triggered roughly $100 billion dollars over the next decade in transport infrastructure funding towards innovation that relieves traffic congestion on our roads, decreases car ownership, and offers incentives to commuters to use new modes of transport services that alleviate the stress on the current system.

The Future Smart Mobility Summit will aim to connect industry leaders from transport services, government and technology to create a collaborative experience where they can learn about new research that will enable the development of Smart Mobility and Mobility as a Service.
