10:45 AM EFFICIENT SECOND LIFE USAGE | PANEL DISCUSSION ON HOW CAN WE REPURPOSE BATTERIES FOR SECOND LIFE USAGE?

We are on the verge of scaling up electric vehicles. But, after five years, there are going to be a huge amount of EV batteries that cannot just be dumped. OEMs and Cell Suppliers are more interested now than ever before in how to use these batteries for second life … and if second life is even viable.

Join your peers as we answer some of the key questions being asked right now to make repurposing a reality.

  • When you take out the battery from the car, how does the lifecycle of second life start?
  • What stationary applications can batteries be used for?
  • How is the selection of cells/modules happening?
  • What does the exact value chain look like from fresh cells coming from a cell supplier going into a car and then coming out to be used for energy storage?
  • What steps can be taken to make the battery management system accessible by the second users and recyclers?
  • Under which circumstances does a second life application make sense from a technical and financial standpoint ?
  • Insurance and warranting of second life packs

Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Anwar.
