Conference Day Two

Wednesday, April 1st, 2020

6:00 PM EVENING WORKSHOP A: AN IN-DEPTH LOOK AT ELECTRIC ROAD SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT

Electric roads using dynamic charging technology are a great way to improve the charging experience for electric vehicles and for example, if implemented on a large scale, to reduce the usage of batteries by 80%!
There are already a few initiatives and projects which focus on this technology. However, many challenges still remain in order to deploy this infrastructure on a large scale. For example, the high cost or the question of how to maintain these roads are preventing from immediate large scale adoption.
In this workshop the moderators will focus on the technology underlying such a system and discuss current projects that are initiated by the Swedish authorities. You will be able to:
Learn about the Swedish electric road project
Discover which technology is currently developed to create an efficient electric road system
Hear about the future road map for the large scale deployment and standardization

Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Mats.
