Giovanni Coppola, M. Sc. Engineering, he is currently employed in the Enel X subsidiary of Enel SpA.

His expertise include the investment analysis, market-entry valuation and solutions portfolio management of downstream services, implemented through products and services partnerships, technology development and corporate venture capital investment deals. He has been primarily involved downstream services / infratech bolt-on corporate acquisition and investments, unlocking  innovative business models at global level, in order to secure new sources of value in the fast evolving framework of energy industry in mature and emergent markets with a primary focus on electric mobility throughout the years.

Prior to this, he has been accountable as project manager of a wide range of electric vehicles charging infrastructure projects, at different technology readiness levels, ranging from product development and proof of concepts to rollout, including large size infrastructure projects within Connecting Europe Facilities program (EVA+, E-VIA FLEX-E and Central European Ultra Charging).

Before joining Enel, he has worked as hardware engineer within semiconductors industry, designing digital back-end of UVLSI System-On-Chip products for electricity metering, within the framework of nation-wide mass rollout.

He authored several international technical and business on a wide spectrum of subjects within the energy industry
