Dr. Tao Zhang, an IEEE Fellow, manages the Transformational Networks and Services research group at the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He was the CTO for the Smart Connected Vehicles business at Cisco, and the Chief Scientist and Director of multiple research groups focused on wireless and vehicular networking at Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bell Communications Research). He coauthored two books, 60+ patents, and 100+ peer-reviewed technical papers
