Fire Chief City of Chandler

Chief Dwiggins has served the citizens of Chandler as a member of the Chandler Fire Department for over twenty one years. During that span, he has filled every sworn position within the department, being promoted to the rank of Fire Chief in 2016.

Highlights of Chief Dwiggins career include serving as a member of the department’s special operation team, directing the first ever City of Chandler paramedic academy, and leading the Training Division in training hundreds of local firefighters. In addition to his work in the fire service, Chief Dwiggins is a veteran of the United States Air Force, holds an Associate’s degree in Paramedicine, a Bachelor’s degree in Public Safety Administration, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Chief Dwiggins holds a Chief Fire Officer (CFO) designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence and is a graduate of the Fire Service Executive Development Institute.
