Bob Gruszczynski (Past Speaker)

Bob is currently the OBD Communication Expert for Volkswagen Group of America. His duties include investigation and analysis of OBD Communication issues in the field for Volkswagen group vehicles. His activities also include technical representation for the Volkswagen Group in North America in OBD Communication-related matters. He is Chairman of the SAE E/E Diagnostics Committee, the J1962 Vehicle Diagnostic Connector Task Force and the J1978 OBDII Scan Tool Task Force. He is also co-author of the J1699-2 Test Cases for OBD-II Scan Tools and I/M Test Equipment document and author of J1699-4 OBD-II Communications Anomaly List information report. He is also a member of the SAE Technical Standards Board.
