Agenda Day 2

Wednesday, February 12th, 2020

1:50 PM The future of active thermal management and climate control

• Potential for weight and volume reductions in heat pumps/air conditioners
• New heat exchanger design methods
• Brief discussion of novel cooling/heat pumping technologies

Workshop Day

Thursday, February 13th, 2020

2:30 PM THE FUTURE OF CLIMATE CONTROL AND CABIN COMFORT

With the introduction of the electric motor in the new generation
vehicles (EV or HEV), also comes a change in the requirements for
the cabin and passenger comfort. The original strategy of simply
recovering heat from the ICE becomes obsolete and new approaches
have to be developed. In this workshop, you will hear about
the latest trends in cabin comfort in EV and HEV and discuss current
and future developments including:
• The requirements for climate control in EV
• New solutions such as heat conductive materials and
localized heating
• The future of air-conditioning, innovations in heat pumps
• Energy efficiency optimization

Check out the incredible speaker line-up to see who will be joining Reinhard.
