Darren Shelcusky is a senior consultant, working for Ford Motor Company. He recently retired from Ford where he held the position of Manager Vehicle and Connectivity Cybersecurity. Darren’s areas of expertise encompass cybersecurity for the vehicle connectivity ecosystem and vehicle tech stack including clients, cloud, APIs, VSOC, and cyber-physical systems. He earned a BS in Systems Engineering from General Motors Institute and an MBA from Penn State University. He is a 42-year veteran in the automotive industry, where he has led software-based initiatives in manufacturing, product development, product testing, in-vehicle, connected vehicles, and cybersecurity. Darren has 12 patents for various connected vehicle and telematics innovations globally.
