Ven Shan is the Vice President of Marketing at Lumissil Microsystems a Division of ISSI, a fabless semiconductor company. He is responsible for product strategy and development of the Lighting, Control and Power Management products. During his seven year tenure at ISSI, he was instrumental in directing the strategy to focus on Automotive lighting by developing a portfolio of LED Drivers to make Lumissil a one stop shop for all interior and exterior Automotive lighting solutions. He helped forge partnerships and relationships with major Auto Lighting Tier 1 suppliers worldwide. Under his leadership thru organic growth and strategic acquisitions, Lumissil has further expanded the product line to provide advanced lighting and applications specific microcontroller products to address the Automotive, Industrial and Consumer markets. Prior to Lumissil/ISSI, over last 20 years, Ven has held senior management positions at Semtech, Altera and National Semiconductor where his strategic leadership helped define innovative products that drove significant revenue growth for each of the companies. He has participated and presented as a speaker in several power and automotive related industry events. He holds a MS from University of Kansas and MBA from San Jose State University
