Rahul Gulati

SoC Functional Safety Architect/Manager Qualcomm

Rahul Gulati is an electronics engineering graduate with Dual Masters degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani, India. He has 20+ years of industry experience. His primary areas of expertise include SoC and system architecture for Automotive Infotainment and safety critical ADAS Systems. He has spent around 12+ years at Texas Instruments where he was involved in developing and architecting their Jacinto series of SoCs (from Jacinto1 to Jacinto6). Since the last 3+ years, he has been working on architecting the next-generation safety critical automotive SoCs at Qualcomm Inc. He has several IEEE publications and around 15+ patents filed in USPTO, with most of them in the area of semiconductor functional safety. He is also part of ISO 26262 US Technical Action Group. In addition to functional safety, his areas of interest include deep neural networks and their application to self-driving cars.
