Rami Syväri is an MBA with focus on International Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Aalto Executive Education in Helsinki where he studied beside his work 2008-2010. Prior to that he studied his BBA at the Polytechnic Univesity in Vaasa, Finland during the years 1996-2000 including an exchange year in Kiel, Germany.
At the age of 16 he started working as a correspondent and translator for the management of the oldest tank-truck producer in Scandinavia, located in Hämeenkyrö, Finland. During his BBA studies worked for a start-up with innovative optical fiber applications, also representing the company in Germany for a year. After his studies he joined Mäkitorppa, the leading Finnish mobile phone retail chain and participated in its expansion to Germany, heading sales in the North Rhine-Westphalia area and later in whole Germany. He then moved to a sister company Tropolys - a group of local telecom providers in Germany - where he headed the product line of carrier voice products. After his return to Finland he joined E.ON Finland as Sales Manager heading the B2B sales of the electricity division. Following the acquisition by Fortum, he has had positions in sales and delivery management. For the past 5 years he has been working with new business and since 2012 as the Country Manager Finland for Fortum Charge & Drive, the leading charging operator in the Nordics. Since 2014 he has been responsible for the international expansion of Charge & Drive, providing operators and infrastructure investors with Charge & Drive's leading, cloud based charging business system, which offers solutions to customer experience, infrastructure management and business management.
